Speaking of catching someone's eye, after days of demanding from my 3 year-old to carve his pumpkin NOW, much like the annoying girl from willy wonka, I finally gave in and took on the job of carving a magnificent pumpkin for my little man. Of course, my ambitions are high and I want it to be perfect. Afterall, I am somewhat a perfectionist when it comes to my artwork. So, pumpkin in one hand and pen in the other (to draw the design...duh), I begin my journey. I begin to get frustrated by the end of hour 1 because things just aren't progressing as fast as I would have liked. Finally after 3 hours of meticulous pumpkin carving, hunters Thomas the Train pumpkin was brought to life. Whew....I'm glad that's over. One pumpkin down, one to go. Now to figure out what to do with the other one.
